Hello fello Toronto Golf Nuts... this is my first posting. I am looking to replace my old (around 1978 Titliest AC-201 clubs!) with something a little more forgiving.

There are some Cobra SS-i irons on ebay right now that look like they may be a good deal. I see from the equipment issue of Golf Digest that Cobra clubs did fairly well in general but I have not experience with them.

Does anyone have a review on these clubs for me. I am not sure if I am a mid or high handicapper. I usually shoot in the low to mid 90's.

I have tried them (SSi oversized) when I was shopping for my last set of irons (~2 years ago). They were ok, quite forgiving, but it seemed a bit too oversized and bulky for my taste, therefore I went with something slightly smaller (TM320). You can find reviews on the cobra:

Personnally, I think all mid-high end cavity back irons are forgiving, it's a matter of which irons you feel more confident with. Cobra SSi is a good mid-range set of irons if you feel more confident with oversized irons.
