Played south of Belleville today right next to Lake Ontario (Hayward Long Reach actually) at Picton Golf Club. A little wind, some nasty thick ruff and it was a great day. If you ever get out this way don't miss the chance to play Picton.

Played Watson's Glen this morning....it was chilly to start and then got really windy ... had drizzle off and on which was unexpected. Wind certainly affected some shots, but overall a good day....

I played at derrydale today, it was nice just getting in a short 9 as it was cold out, plus 9 is good practise for me. I shot pretty good, the best round I have done before, but it still wasnt low as I think each time I go out I can get better... in till I hit the lower numbers. It was nice I went out with my friends and had a relaxing day.... now its off to the baseball diamond to play my ball game... I think I will bring a sweater to ball tonight as its getting chilly..

Played Pheasant Run this morning and Angus Glen South at twilight last evening.

Angus was cold and windy.

Pheasant Run was cold and wet.

I don't know which was worse.

I may impose a new rule for me - no more golf if the temp is in the single digits!

Played only 4 holes yesterday but finish all 18 at Seaton today. Very cold in the morning (7am) but not too windy... bad fairway/rough condition, fast green...

I managed to play 18 at Mill Run this afternoon. I can't remember doing something enjoyable and feeling so darned cold at the same time. Very windy, but at least it was dry. I shot 4 over on the front with only 13 putts, then my lack of sleep the night before caught up with me and shot 11 over on the back side.

Played 18 today at Bayview GCC and then spent a couple hours on range working on my irons which seems to be lacking some consistency these days. I've neglected them for too long while working on the big-stick. Where is the SUMMER?! This weather sux! I cancelled out Sat and Sun rounds and was too starved to skip today. Strong winds, cold, rained some parts, some 30sec of sun here and there... I hit my 3wood about 225yrds and was using that to hit into the green 190yrds away, into the wind! That's just not right!!

Carlton, I know what you mean. I bombed my driver off the 6th hole (the par5 on top of the hill) a whopping 225 yards into the wind. Then on the next hole (downwind) blasted a 190 yard 9-iron, right over the green into the trees. It just ain't fair!:thumbs_do

By the way, there were two positives today besides my front 9 score. I came home with the same golf balls I left with, and I used my first zero-friction tee today and it's still in my tee holder on the bag.

I was up in Muskoka and played Lake Joe in a balmy 4C. On the plus side I did get to experience all four seasons in 4 hours yesterday and can now say I've played in hail. My girlfriend now knows how true a "nut" I am.

Played Glen Cedars today. We were wet off and on for the first four holes, and it was chilly and windy all day. I put on my rain gloves after the first hole and the rain stopped, but I mistakenly took them off after holeing out at #2 and then it started again, of course my whole group and the group ahead of us waiting on the #3 tee blamed me ;) I was well layered so the cold didn't affect me. Gotta be prepared!

A little cold and windy is an understatement. There were definitely some Brass Monkeys in jeopardy out there today. Played Deer Creek North teed off about 11:30 played in about 5 hours BUT were waiting big time on every hole not a fun way to play when the biggest challenge was to stay even a little warm. Could not believe the group behind were in SHORTS!!!!!!!!

played 27 at Glencarin...compared to sunday it was a blessing of a day. No real issues on the weather. Cloudy, sun (briefly), cloud and overcast but no RAIN. it was windy but not unmanageable. It is getting a little tiring with these conditions, but that's the game. if the Scottish had yesterday's weather, they'd think they'd had a GOOD day

Love this country but...We were putting on number 9..and it looked like the green had a heavy dose of fertilizer...but wait..it was hale!
Hoping for a nice Sunday one of these days:confused:

Nowhere for me today, I threw my back out by straining my lat muscle and then continuing to play and practice for a week afterwards. Now I can't even chip without severe sharp pain. Time for some long overdue rest.
