front. Im only going to play the front so when you see my score of -28 its because I shot 44 on the front and had 0 on the back.
A fellow from copetown assured me that he was going to shoot 73, thats what those gross guys should be gunning for. :hush:

Hi Harry
I just got the call from the Surgeon who did my double by pass. He said no golf this weekend for me. That opens up the event for others to win now:D He said something about my ribs being wired closed, and that those ribs are not healed and won't be for some time.
So I guess I got no JAM, according to some!
I got no drugs either!

Maybe next year TourIQ. But then again, maybe some tour will pop up down this way. I have heard a rumour that might happen. Sponsors are being lined up this summer from what I heard through the grapevine. Time will tell.

The tee sheet is revised (yet again) and posted on www.grassrootstour.ca (click link in New Flash section of main page).
There are two more names to go on, but I haven't gotten those names yet. Also, some handicaps are missing, if you are one of the individuals with a missing handicap, please contact me so I can make the update.
Thanks and see you all tomorrow.

That was the last HC that I had for Ryan. Also, your 15.1 index won't necessarily reflect your HC at any given course.

Tough scoring day on the greens, they were the hardest I've seen them since playing there from day one and shots were not holding on them. I'd be interested in finding out how our low man shot 73.....I smell a fix dammit, FIXXXXXXXX!!!!! :p
Seriously though, congrats to Paul Lang on the 73, amazing score considering just how difficult the greens were to hold.
It was a pleasure finally being able to meet Harry (TourIQ) and his son Duane (forgedblade), couldn't have asked for nicers guy to spend the day with. I learned that I should always pack a few snacks before heading out to play a long round, that the ball really can travel as far as the pros go (holy FARKIN long drives Duane hit, specially number 5!) and most importantly......now pay close attention here folks.....measure your distances in meters :D
Can't wait to tee it up again, would also like the chance to tee it up with Duane again as he was a pleasure to watch. It was also nice to watch the father/son duo in action, sure wish my Dad was into the game as much as Harry is......

13 hrs of sun and wind had taken a toll on me something fierce but as Scotty said, Duane was a pleasure to watch as always.
I didnt get to see any of Paul's play at CW but it must have been great as getting close to those pins in that wind wasnt easy.
Congrats to Chiantibro for getting revenge on his game after Angus Glen even though Mr. Perry White was the eventual low net winner.
Thanks to all who came out including the Titleist rep and Scotty for providing the tech support on the YES gear this week.

Hi racmbs
First off congratulations to Paul Lang [Low Gross] and Perry White [Low Net] for their tour win at Copetown Woods. Man a '73' is an awesome gross score so Paul just flat out played his way to victory. Last event we played with Saj Jamal and his Net '72' I think was good for 3rd, so he had a stellar round going as well, so congratulations Saj! We also played with Perry White at Angus Glen so it was nice to see him reach the winners circle.
Scott, you are FAR TOO NICE not to lay down a little smack on Duane's caddie, which would me me TourIQ. Since you won't then I will just fess up and set the record straight. I was giving forgedblade distances with our Bushnell Yardage Pro Tour XL and my measurements were always about 8 to 12 different than what Will lasered off. On the back 9 [which was the front] I gave Duane another # to the pin and he said "that can't be right" give me the rangefinder. Within a few seconds he says, the darn think is reading in Meters not Yards. As his 'amateur' caddie I was giving him the wrong yardage for most of the round. On a positive note, I did count his clubs before the round to ensure he only had 14.
racmbs you definitely have game too having tied forgedblade when it was all over. I remember that long drive Duane bombed on hole 5 (par 4), just short of being able to putt it on to the green, and you sir, hit an slightly errant tee shot into the fescue. Well Duane gets his par and Scott gets his birdie :D That was a remarkable recovery that most players would of produced a high number. You just turned it into a birdie opportunity.
Duane picked up his new YES Callie C-groove putters, so thanks Jeff and Scott for making the delivery to Copetown Woods. I got a YES Natalie.
It's fun to be the father/son duo. I just wish I can minimize my caddie mistakes which eventually costs fb a stroke or two, but I am learning, and he is patient with my lack of progress in this regard. Sometimes he just shakes his head and laughs, and then we get to trash talk each other on the drive home.
It was a pleasure to finally meet you Scott, and as strong as your game is, you are even more talented as a super nice guy!

Hi Scott
I just looked at the scorecard for yardage on holes 5 and 18. forgedblade would of hit drives of 345 and 355 yards respectively on those 2 holes. With rangefinder that would be 315 and 325 meters respectively
