I'm replying to my own post as I did a lot of research and just returned from a fantastic golf trip to Ireland. It wasn't with a Canadian firm but rather Jerry Quilan's Celtic Golf (www.celticgolf.com (http://www.celticgolf.com)). I came across their ad in Travel & Leisure promoting their 12th Annual Father & Son Tournament in Southwest Ireland. The trip was top drawer all the way. We stayed in the Killarney Park Hotel, which is the top property there, and travelled by executive coach each day to our courses. These were Killarney GC (Killen Course) for our practice round followed by tournament rounds at Waterville, Dooks, Tralee and Ballybunion. These are stunning, jaw dropping courses and are a must play 'before you die' sort of thing! At the wind up banquet all the prizes were items of crystal from the world famours Waterford Crystal Company. There were 60 golfers. We were the only Canadians and I've never met a nicer bunch of people. I'd highly recommend this for any fathers looking to lake their son on a golf vacation or any other of Jerry Quinlan's trips.

Also, I have since found out the there is a great group in Markham doing golf trips called Golf Away Tours, headed by Michael Kearney (www.golfawaytours.com (http://www.golfawaytours.com)). I'm told that Michael runs a good show as well.

There is a UK company called Golf Breaks that arrange everything but the travel for you.

Hope this helps?
