This is my 2nd year golfing, I do not consider myself good but I still love competition. Where can I find golf tournaments for players around 15-20 handicap? Is there such a thing around the GTA area?

There's also the annual TGN Tournament at Angus on July 16th. It's open to people of all skill levels. It's just a day of fun, but we are also giving away awards to best scores for a variety of contests.

Hope to see you out!

Yes I was there last year and it was fun, but the players were not all at the same level. I want to find a tournament where all players are same handicap level.

just teasing about the sandbagger comment. Jealous actually, wish I was improving at such a rate.

The guys are right, the Grass Roots Tour was created as a learning ground for players to learn what competitive golf is all about. If your sitting at home wondering if your good enough to play with us, don't wonder or worry. Come on out and enjoy some of the most fun people you'll ever golf with.
These guys carpool together, play practice rounds together, and I'm very pleased with how well everyone gets along.

The latest offer from the GRT is a reduced membership rate to $25. As some of the season has passed and we'd love to have way more players coming out, we have extended the invitation to join the tour for $25 allowing you to enjoy all the benfits of the tour for the remainder of the season.
The tour putter cover is not included (as it was for those who came at the beginning of the season) but can be purchased for $20 each.

I'm doing Copetown Woods tee times at 8pm so you have until then to add as many players as you wish. After that, you may only still get in if all the foursomes arent full.

Thanks for reading this.
