Wondering if anyone can help me out. I'm looking for an Aldila NV shaft in a 65 with R flex.
Anyone know where I can get a good deal? I think GT has them for $150 minus 30% right now.
Any comments on the shaft?
Thx

Thx Depending on what shaft you are now playing, you may end up with a much stiffer tipped shaft. If your ball flight is currently higher than your liking, this shaft will help lower the trajectory. If your flight is already fairly low, you may want to rethink your shaft selection.
IMO, these shafts are overpriced, however, at $105 (70% of $150) the price is very good compared to their regular inflated price.

Aldila NV 65 - $106.75 from Golfsmith and PUREd for $118.90. You can pick it up from the Mississuga location.

I've got a Launcher 400 9.5* that I recently purchased with the stock Fujikara shaft in a Stiff flex. I'm looking to move into a reg flex with a lower launch.
Ball's a high fade. everytime.
$100 bux. Guess I'm off to GT.

Thx I had an NV65 regular in an SMT Shinnec*ck. A very nice, smooth shaft that definately helps to bring the trajectory down. At $100+ it is rather expensive, but if you don't mind spending the $$$ then you will get a very nice shaft. You can probably get a used one cheaper if you are patient, however.

That is definitly a first for me too see Golf Town beat out Golf Smith. Don't be surprised. From an insider, one of their goals is basically to eliminate the competition and dominate the market. Because of their size and "ins" with certain manufacturers, they are purchasing product for a lot less than other retailers, offering much of it at a lower price and because of volume sales, end up making more money.
My insider mentioned to me that the Ottawa store has exceeded its daily budgeted quota every day, except one, since the store opened last April. Now figure out what will happen to prices when much of the competition has gone under.

Shadow, I agree with there the position in the market is only going to grow. But the prices they curretly charge are still way to high. I guess we will have to wait and see how they do over the next year.
