Meaning from the butt, how low do you go? DO you measure it to the ground, or to the top of the club?

How do you measure shaft length?

Meaning from the butt, how low do you go? DO you measure it to the ground, or to the top of the club?

Thx I use a club measuring device that looks like this, \__________ where the small diagonal part is on hinges. Placing the club so it seats itself flat on the angled part, an accurate measurement can be read from the flat part which is calibrated. If you just have a yard stick, place the club on the floor so the head sits in its impact position, place the ruler under the shaft down to the floor and under the hosel and take your measurement. It's usually quite accurate.
