:D The 2006 US Open Championship TGN Golf Pool:D
I was lucky and won The 2006 Master’s TGN Golf Pool, so I have the honor and distinction of hosting The 2006 US Open Championship TGN Golf Pool.
Every participant pledges to contribute one sleeve of balls to the winner of this pool. Winner will request a certain type of ball and the losers will compensate the winner with the requested type or a ball of similar quality.
Be sure you will be able to honor your commitment, win or lose, before entering the pool.
The winner will also have the honor of hosting the next 2006 major pool.:hyper:
Each participant's roster should have 10 golfers in total. The winner of the pool is the participant with the lowest total score of all ten golfers after all four rounds. Should a golfer on your roster fail to make the cut after two rounds, that "cut" golfer will be given the same score as the golfer with the worst round of the day.
It is each participant's responsibility to make sure the golfers are actually competing in the 2006 US Open Championship.

It looks like keeping your score under 30 will be some feat, especially with the way the course seems to be playing.
Again, chances are there are many mistakes in my spreadsheet, so guarantee that its no more accurate than my driver (which is bad news).

How about that first day at the open, the top three in the pool are still in the 20's,great picks Shake,Mule and Skipper.Looks like the Howell and Jimenez picks are really paying off at the moment.Sad that i changed my last pick to Lehman, from Jimenez!! Nobody picked Monty, such a shame with his history at the us open??I think the big surprises are Toms at 9 over and the Goose at plus 7, whats up with that ?? And how about Mikey, solid round but I just wish his putter would start coming around. If it did he would definitely be there on Sunday. Will anyone be under par today??
Hey,KingCobra you asked for a double check so i did.You might want to check Golfinggino that was the only difference that i can see though i did have you at 42 until a double check. lol Good Job on the pool King

Understandable. But in that case, can you check the scores again, because I have quite a few that are +/-1. I'll let you check everyone elses' scores, but for my own, I got 1491 for my score, although in the end, it probobly won't matter.

Well your math seems to be good, but according to www.usopen.com (http://www.usopen.com), they have Immelman shooting a R1 - 76 and R2 - 71 for an overall 147.

Thanks KingCobra, I was wondering if I would gain some ground on Mule56 with only one man cut. Looks like it might just work out for me.:D Its gonna be hard to catch me now.:D Well it sure is an interesting open with a 2 over leader, and plus 7 or 8 could have a chance now. That puts a lot of guys back in it.How about Weirsy ,if he didn't blow that great round he had going with that double on 18 we would have two lefties in the top four.Just watching Edmonton cream Carolina 4 to nil. Hello game seven!!! Only once has a team comeback from being down 3-1 and won the cup.We could be watching a little hockey history being made.

Congrats goes to skipper who beat out smartgolfer by a stroke. A double check would be appreciated. I've tried to attach a pdf but not sure if it's going to work.
Skipper if you can pm everyone with your choice of balls and your info that would be great. You also have the honor of hosting the next Major.

Congrats to Skipper. After loosing three guys to the cut on Friday, it was tough for my team, to hold that lead. Just goes to show you anything can happen. Even Skippers team caught and passed smartgolfer's team which only suffered one player to the cut. Now looking forward to the "Open".

Man that was close, I didn't think anyone could catch me until Freddie turned in that horrible birdieless round, made a hair raising final day,Quite the push from behind by Skipper to tie me.Right down to a tie-breaker.WOW that was a fun pool and expect the same at the British open pool, now that I have the distinction of hosting it.To the pool participants, I have registered for the upcoming TGN Tourny on July 16 at Angus Glen for those of you that will be there i can wait until then for the prize sleeves. Thanks Everyone.
my ball of choice is Phils ball the CALLAWAY HEX TOUR ,I've wanted to try these out for awhile.PRO V1 will be fine also.
