wow! what a cool course.
not cheap at $70 m-th and $80 fss, but if you're looking to treat yourself...go for it. you will not be disappointed.
the course is kept in great condition and offers some challenging holes with great scenery.
one of the unique things about this course is the driving range. that's right, i said the driving range. you hit floating balls out into the water. the green across the pond requires a little more than a 215 yard drive to carry the water. the flag is in the middle at about 240.
get a basket and have fun. :D

Anotherwords Jay, you didn't hit the green eh??? hahha...j/k...I've heard really good reviews about Silver Lakes too. Very busy and I even called them about fall rates. They dont' have any because they stay busy enough through the fall to charge full rates! Not fair to the average Joe!

I had read about this golf course on Toronto.com! Sounds like a great range to test the accuracy of your drive. I definitely want to try it out.

The course is super well maintained with the coolest driving range.
Not too cheap but you have to play it at least once.
Fairways are narrow. Bring a lot of balls if you can't hit a ball straight down the fairway.
Marshals exist and do a good job of speeding up play.

I had bypassed Silver Lakes for a couple of years and went back there a couple of times this year. I was pleasantly surprised - they have managed to put capital into it and it really shows, with trap and conditioning improvements. Too bad my driving game went off kilter, though :)
