Folks,
Just wondering how you would go about sending a club through the mail? Meaning how would you pack it, or can you just bring it somewhere and have them wrap it for you?
Thanks

I happen to have a large supply of club boxes (from all my purchases) - You can stop by a golf store and ask if they have any extra boxes, they are ussually helpful as they just throw them out anyway - box it up, tape it tight and drop it off at the Post office.

I would pack it up as best as possible. I love to see that the previous owner has taken the time to assure nothing happens during transit. Id get some bubble wrap or maybe even some newspaper or styrofoam.

In addition, you should wrap the head(s) with plastic bubble wrap or something similar.....it eliminates any possible dings during transport. For multiple clubs, you can use some thick rubber bands to tie several shafts (top and bottom) together. To minimize any movement within the box, you could use several sheets of crumpled newspaper. Lastly, make sure that the ends and sides of the box are well taped with duct tape or similar and the addresses of the shipper and receiver are legible.

In addition to the steps listed above, I would recommend packing the box with styrofoam peanuts to give the package a bit of crush resistance.
