I played the other course they have. Not the valley course. I heard the valley is better, tougher. The other course is wide open and flat. No challenges anywhere. If you want to score low, here's the place. Let me know how the valley is after your round.
BTW, thought you were playing Deer Creek on sat?

I think Valley is suppose to be the easier course....it's shorter, lower rating and slope than the other course.......Deer Creek was fully booked....

Hey Ego, my friend who played at Parkview before told me that Valley is the harder one. Not sure now what to believe. But I think I will mentally prepare myself for a challenging course. See you on Sat. ;)

Hey Ego...I've heard that's it's an alright course. Let me how it is cause I'd like to play there one day since it's just around the corner from where I am.

Definitely....I'll put up a course review, but it's raining today! Hope it lightens up in the afternoon....*argh*...

Just played there...not a bad course, but I'm not sure if it was exactly worth 45 bucks from 2pm.....Valley course was pretty tough and the slope and OGA rating that the course was given makes it very deceptive...many hills...quite a few par 4's and 5's that are severe uphills off the tee.....greens were in well kept condition...

I played Parkview too and I found the course really tough with all the slopes and undulations on the fairway and on the green. It's not a beginner friendly course so make sure you have some practice under your belt. And bring out your long drives and make sure you know the exact distance of all your clubs! Surprisingly even though there was water, I didn't lose any balls. I agree with Ego about the well kept greens. However, the putting surface of the green was covered with leaves, twigs, and pine needles due to the strong wind. And since it also rained earlier that day, I couldn't really read the greens because of it. They have a decent snack bar with a grill and BBQ between the ninth and tenth hole. My favourite was the eleventh hole. About 100 yards from an elevated tee box down to a valley. The hole was placed center of the green that day. Walking down the steep hill to the hole was kind of dangerous though.

Oh and there were a lot of bunkers surrounding some holes. But despite how much I enjoy the sand...I didn't have to dig that day. Most of the time I kept it on the short green stuff.

Yep, nice short par 3 hole, but trying to judge the actual distance is the toughest part.....I would say the tee was elevated about 50-60 ft....

I've played both courses and I would have to say they are pretty good. I think the valley course is a bit more difficult but it is the shorter of the two. IMO Valley is also a tougher walk! The only thing I dont like about valley is the 15th hole where your under the Railroad Bridge! Theres always a train passing over as I get on the green.
