So finally havin the time to play some golf on the weekend a few of us decided we should try Deerfield for the first time. If anyone was out playing today it was similar to playing in a British Open. Damn wind was gusting like a tornado. Anyways 1st hole I duff the ball and lets just say I picked up my ball after a few more hacks @ it. There goes my attempt at breaking 100 @ course Im playing for the 1st time. 3rd Hole I hit my Baffler hybrid about 210 yrds right to the red stake. Im happy with the result and lookdown and realize the head f*king snapped off. :mad: :mad: :mad: I finally hit a solid shot and I end up breaking the club on the 3rd DAMN HOLE! So basically the longest club I had in my bag was my 3wood because hittin driver would be useless with so much wind. Well to make matters worst 2 holes later my PULL CART flips over and snaps @ da handle. Guess what I had to carry my bag which contained at least a dozen balls a couple bottles of water/gatorade the rest of the way.
Still gutted it out and scored 104 but considering the conditions today I thought I could of shot in the mid 90's which is more like my game @ this point.
Anyone else have as much fun as me?
