TorontoGolfNuts.com (TGN) is a family-friendly site thus based on the sole discretion of our moderators and administrators, discussion threads and content posted in our forum which we deem to be offensive in nature or in any manner a violation of our rules as expressed below may be edited or removed at any time and without any prior notice. This includes but is not limited to the following:

• Offensive language – while language filters have already been set up to detect and eliminate profanity, carefully disguised words or symbols to attempt to bypass our filters will not be tolerated. TGN will not tolerate flaming, which is posting messages and starting threads that are deliberately hostile, insulting and verbally abusive. Messages exhibiting discrimination towards any of our members based on their race, gender, religion or sexual orientation will be removed and users may be reprimanded or banned from our forum.


• Images and discussion content – avatars, pictures, links or thread discussions, which portray graphic violence, pornographic or sexually explicit content are prohibited by TGN. It is the sole discretion of our moderators and administrators to decide what pictures, links or discussions they deem to be inappropriate.


• Avatars and member names – when selecting an avatar or member name please choose carefully. In order to be fair to our sponsors, TGN does not allow member avatars and member names to advertise a business, product, or service unless you are a TGN sponsor. TGN administrators and moderators reserve the right to ask a member to change their avatar or member name if it is deemed to be in violation of this rule.


• Signatures - Links and entrepreneurial information in member signatures promoting entrepreneurial small businesses, corporate businesses and golf courses are prohibited by TGN. In fairness to our sponsors, TGN does not allow member signatures to include any commercial names, addresses, or other information. Commercial web links advertising a place of business, products or services offered are also prohibited unless you are a TGN sponsor. Members can only include personal web-links to personal homepages and web logs that is not part of a commercial site.

If a discussion, image or link has been edited by one of our moderators or administrators, an explanation will be given in a timely manner to the users they find to be at fault. Use of threads or posts to attack a TGN moderator or administrator or TGN policies is not allowed. If you feel that you have been misinterpreted or unjustifiably treated by a member of the TGN team, please use the private messaging function to voice your concerns. TGN will respond to all complaints in a timely fashion. Upon review of the situation, the TGN team will determine the appropriate course of action.

TGN prohibits the use of our forum for commercial purposes by members not recognized as TGN sponsors. TGN restricts members from including advertisements in message posts, threads, polls, and signatures. Only TGN sponsors are allowed to freely promote their place of business, products or services in the forums. Only TGN sponsors are allowed to advertise and directly benefit in wealth or position from these message posts, threads, polls, and signatures. TGN offers customizable advertising packages at all levels to suit your advertising needs.

Only one username or account is allowed per forum member. If you have forgotten your log in information, do not create a new account, please contact us.

TGN has selected moderators to help oversee specific forums. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating. The moderators generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other manipulations on behalf of TGN.

Members can also help to report a rules violation to our administrators by clicking the following icon that is available beside every post. Members can be assured that sending a report to our administrators is both private and confidential.
