Has anyone played here recently? Thinking about picking up the UnderPar for a trip up to Sauble Beach later in the month. Worth it?

Could be for you. I simply use the coupon offers at golfpassport.com. Their 2 for 1 means I pay $55.00 + tax for two players. If you think $24.00 extra for the cart on a course that is easily walked (And I mean easily) then by all means hop on that train. You should be aware that the Saugeen green fee already includes free use of the range and a replay is only the cart fee so there is no real bonus with the Underpar. Oh! and the nice three wheel push carts are complimentary too!
To clarify, I played this past weekend and the course was in very good condition. The past two years have been an immense leap forward in conditioning with their new Superintendent. The only reason I cannot give them a better grade is due to the amount of rain that the area has received and did receive over the weekend. Lots of casual water areas despite the good sand based drainage. Gotta see some sun sooner or later don't we?

On their site it says they charge $10 per person for unlimited use of the range and the UnderPar allows you to tee off at 10:00AM on the weekends and holidays vs 12:00PM on SOG. If you are looking to get a full day in I'd say the UnderPar is a no brainer, you get free range, cart included and if the course is walkable you could play the 3'rd set of 9's or do another 18 for free. I'd say go for it! Wish i had a reason to go out that way this summer.

Enjoy!
Add this track to the "must play" list
....bought a new 3-wood at Sportsyard on Friday, and was killing it!!

Hmmm, will be in the Kincardine area later in the month, maybe I can nip up there. Looks like I should try and get on the Legacy nine if possible...
