Yes, read this somewhere else (WRX?), and the tire whitener stuff wasn't cutting it...

Began to use baby wipes, magic erasure lightly in the 'yellowing' areas where your hands/fingers are predominantly and I finally seemed to have found a method that works. Can't believe that Superstroke hasn't informed customers how to clean their grips - I'm sure they just want you to buy new ones 2, 3 times a year (For those OCD types like me).

Anyway, I'm sure others are bothered by how quickly the grips become dirty and dingy.

Tire whitener only works on rubber grips.

Superstroke grips have a foam component to them. They aren't pure rubber hence they feel funny.

Agreed, there is nothing better than tire cleaner for rubber grips. Make sure you rinse and scrub them ( plastic nail brush) very well to remove all the tire spray that will get into pores....the stuff is corrosive.

i use the mr clean magic eraser on pretty much everything else

Majority of time I just use Palmolive dish soap and a nylon brush. I'll use tire cleaner if they get really mucky.
