I don't think there were ever responses to inquiries about the Ignore List, a feature that was useful on the old site but was disabled here. Can it be reinstated? It's useful to block out the noisemakers whose contributions we find detrimental to the site, and I think a case can be made that it keeps things more civil, particularly in very active forums such as the Local Pub, which often features more polarizing topics.

Clicking on Top of Your Game in the sponsors banner does not connect with them??Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and wrong, because sometime in your life, you will have been all of these. Meanwhile, can someone delete my post 14 in the King Street Pilot thread? Somehow it's messed with the site coding and is making the thread hard to read on some platforms. It also won't let me delete, edit, or flag it. I'm not married to the post. I don't care if it goes.

Has the site been modified so that all post on a thread appear on one page? I ask, because this one just did that for me. Against my better judgment, i'll now try it with the Trump thread. Loading all of that on one page should be challenging.
I shouldn't have tried it with Trump. It locked up my iPad. Fortunately, this thread now appears with its usual pagination. I'll go back to Trump to see if all is back to normal on that one. ... Unfortunately, it isn't. Couldn't get in as s result of the site trying to load everything on one page. This is a serious problem.Last edited by mpare; Nov 18, 2017, 12:28 PM.This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

We're back to this entire thread and every other thread being loaded on one page! As a result, nothing loads. I'll come back in a few days. Hopefully, it'll be fixed by then.
I have now checked whether this problem manifests itself on my laptop as well as the iPad. It does. This thread, for example, loads as 7 pages on to one page. On the laptop that's not a huge issue. It is for the iPad Air. I'll now see what happens on the Trump thread. If I don't return to edit this comment, then you'll know that even on the laptop the attempt to load all 320+ pages on to one page is too much.
Attempting to visit the Trump thread even on my laptop was an abysmal failure. The site tries unsuccessfully to load all the threads pages on to one page. Needless to say, that did not work. It only locked up the computer. Any suggestions?Last edited by mpare; Nov 19, 2017, 07:09 AM.This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

I found a solution to the page loading problem I earlier described. In the Account settings, I changed from site’s default setting to 20 posts per page and saved the change. Curiously, even though it doesn’t seem to save that change, when I next visited a thread consisting of many pages, the site did not attempt to load all the thread’s pages on to one page. I’ll be interested to see how long this “solution” works. This isn't a dress rehearsal. Enjoy yourself. There's no do-over.

I might be the only person who wants this feature, though, so perhaps it's not a big deal that it doesn't work.

I added some one to my ignore list and could not open the Trump thread, I have since removed them. Shut down my browser and logged in. I continue to get this error when attempting to view the Trump thread logged in. I can view it when I am not logged in.

Fortunately there are no rules limiting the number of golf balls you can carry during a match!
