Wasn't aware of the minimum win criteria for the guys. Is this new? Thought it was just a feel good nomination/vote.

There were always criteria. The ones I posted are new -- the original criteria are on the Wikipedia page:

i thought you had to have 4 majors, or 14 wins in the PGA tour to be considered for the hall of fame

I thought you had to be a really nice humble guy that doesnt bark at fans. He will get in at some point. Dont you have to be older? Really dislike "automatic" entries.

I don't see Bubba even close to getting in the Hall at this point. Unless of course he buys a ticket.
I'd like to see the minimum age bumped to 50, so for the most part you would have been retired from regular tour.
