Re: Tiger WDs
Reported on PGATour.com injury.
Tiger Woods has withdrawn from THE PLAYERS Championship while playing the front nine of his final round with a neck injury.
Woods, who won THE PLAYERS Championship in 2001, was 2 over through six holes when he pulled out.
After hitting his tee shot on No. 7 far right, Woods called over an official. He hit his second shot and grimaced in apparent pain again.
Woods then walked to the middle of the fairway to shake hands with playing partner Jason Bohn before leaving on a golf cart.
He then went to the TOUR’s fitness trailer for further examination and treatment.
Woods has been battling a neck injury all week and tweaked it while warming up prior to starting Sunday’s round. — Brian Wacker (Associated Press also contributed to this report)Titleist TSi 3 w/ Project X Hzrdus Smoke Green 6.5

Re: Tiger WDs
Love it.... this guy choked!
What a load of BS... they claim the course is going to play much harder today and all of a sudden he withdraws...
He claims that he has been hurt since before the Masters...
I actually gave him credit on wednesday for being "real" in his interview. He was being what looked liked to be himself, having fun with the media, answering all the questions he was asked.... and then he pulls this BS, along with the excuse all week that he has not played many tournaments...

Re: Tiger WDs
Alex Meceli made a great comment. Haney has been taking tons of abuse and Tiger could have ended that by disclosing this injury earlier rather than leaving HH under the bus.I like big putts and I cannot lie

Re: Tiger WDs
Update:
Apparently he was all over the course at the start of his 4th round.. hitting the ball in the water, in pine straw, in tree's, 269yrd drives... on 7 he instructed Stevie to pick up his ball and walked off the course after not being able to get up and down from a 109 shot out of the rough...Ping G30/TFC
