I fell off the bandwagon one last time just before new years and bought a new set of irons and hybrids. Kept my wedges, woods, and driver as they all performed well for me. Loved the i20s and G25 hybrids but the shafts were just never right to help me perform really well (neither was my swing) and I needed to spread out my gaps at the top end.
Enter Pings easiest to hit irons ever.. the Karstens. I'm looking forward to playing with these jacked up G20 styles irons for the coming seasons. I used G20s a little last year and saw better height and distance with the lighter R flex shafts and the wider sole. I tried the Karsten a few times in the sims and they perform as advertised.. high, straight, and longer then my i20s but with really nice feel.
So since I'm done with golf clubs I can focus on my other fun spending habits… hockey gear! I have a bunch of game used NHL things plus I need a new fancy stick for my own hockey playing. I've been so focused on golf clubs I haven't looked at new hockey sticks in years. Man… so many options!
