  • What a beautiful April day!

So happy to have the chance to play 18 this morning. What a great day to be outside.

But now with that out of the way it is time to settle in and watch the Masters!

Yes sir! Hit up Deer Creek Academy myself. Was busy. For mats, they have good ones.

Didn't get to the golf course. Had to go to the cottage this morning to do the final fluffing for an open house this afternoon.

However, got back from that and got the Miata out and drove up to Woodbridge with the top down to meet up with some Miataphiles for lunch. Met Jefflin and his right hand drive Miata for the first time. Good guy and good times.

I couldn't put the top down in the Vette because we walked today so I had my clubs and cart in the trunk. But it is also the earliest it has come out of hibernation and driving with the windows down was some consolation.

Yup - enough of the indoor dome and some of their dented / gouged mats! Was a waiting line for DC's mats there after 11 a.m.
Used the putting green for a few minutes and super slow as one would expect

Yup played 18 at savannah today, just nice to get out and see the ball fly in the air instead of into a screen. Absolutely gorgeous out today

I saw a Dune Buggy with it's top down (haven't seen one in years)

I spent the afternoon playing Red Crest. What an absolutely beautiful day. Finished in 4:05, even though the course was packed and cart paths only.

Morning coffee, yard work, shag balls in the back yard net, Masters hi-def coverage, BBQ and booked a tee time for Monday morning at Century Pines....yes indeed a beautiful April day

Went for a 2hr bike ride with my girlfriend, and then hurried home to wear out my thumb between the Jayz and the Masters. A great day!

However, when I woke up this morning, and tried to put on my socks, I remarked to my girlfriend that the difference between young golfers and old golfers is the young ones worry about how to get the ball IN the hole; the old ones worry about how to get it OUT.

weird. I had the exact same day. Ran 9KM then had a BBQ dinner with family and watched the masters.
