Tipping FUBUKI Alpha driver shaft

I was looking at tipping my stiff FUBUKI shaft by 1" to bring it closer to X stiff. Any recommendations? Has anyone done this with the Fubuki shaft?

There really should be no problem doing this as I expect the parallel tip length to be near 3". So as long as this exists you should be fine.
