Wow! That has been a "go to" spot to scratch a golf itch during the winter. Very convenient for those of us in the west end!
I appreciate seeing the flight of the ball when I'm working on my swing path, despite the balls feeling like rocks. I can't say they've invested much into the facility over the years, though it's a surprise to see this news.

9th line driving range is open through out the winter. They have covered stalls and heaters in them to keep you warm while teeing off some balls
9th line is ok, but they have limited bays and the heaters are fine if it's >-3° but below that and it's too cold even with the heaters next to your head.

That really sucks, the good places always close their doors and the crappy dilapidated one in Markham who treat their customers with contempt remains in business.
[QUOTE=WDM1980;1635359]Isn't it put UP a parking lot. :P
I think you are dead right. Every lyric I see says UP.
Then I read this:
Joni introduced the song this way on November 29, 1969:
"Two weekends ago I went to Hawaii. It was my first time there and I was only there for two days which was kind of a bummer, I wish I could’ve really seen more of the island and I arrived there at 11 o’clock at night and the next morning I ran to the window and threw back the curtains and sure enough, there it was, paradise, you know, green, lush hills, old Sugarloaf Mountain up there, white birds flying low, Myna birds all over the place, and, right in the middle of it all, was a big parking lot [laughing]. So I wrote this little rock and roll song to commemorate the occasion. It’s called “Big Yellow Taxi,” or, alternately, “They Paved Paradise and Put in a Parking Lot.”
