Sleepy Hollow Country Club is looking for seasonal part time staff to assist in our Back Shop. We are actively looking to fill part time positions for the 2017 season, below is an outline of the job description for our ideal candidate(s). Hours of operation range from 6:30am to 9:30pm, depending on the weather and demands of the business, so please ensure your availability meets these requirements. Hours can range from 4 to 7 hours shifts, based on either opening or closing shifts.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
● providing quality service to members and their guests
● setting up the range 1 hour prior to the start of the days tee times
● setting up power carts in the holding area
● setting up members golf bags on power carts or push carts, prior to the start of their tee times
● assisting members and guests with golf bags to and from their vehicles, when called upon
● club cleaning, organizing and storage
● range service, ensuring a steady supply of practice balls are available at all times and picking of range balls when necessary
● assisting with outside tournament organization and setup of power carts
● assisting with member events
● providing assistance to any member required outside of back shop/clubhouse area
● maintaining a clean and organized back shop
● other duties that arise or may be assigned by the Professional Staff or Head Professional
Experience and qualifications:
● must be available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
● ability to work in a fast-paced environment
● ability to work in a team-oriented environment
● ability to perform physical job functions during all weather conditions
● strong interpersonal and communication skills
● previous customer service experience working in the golf industry is preferred, but not necessary. We are willing to train candidates with the right attitude for the position
