Love Troon and Boulders .. always in awesome shape. Quintero if you want a short drive into the country... it's a very unique course. TPC was fun to play but it was my least favorite of the bunch.Bag: PING Hoofer Camo / Moonlite Floral

Re: What are your top three courses to play in PHX area?
In order
1. Quinterro
2. Verrado
3. Boulders
4. Troon North
5. We Ko Pa Saguaro
6. gold Canyon -Dinosaur Mountain
7.Southern Dunes
I'm editing this as I just saw you are going in February. Unfortunately , prices are insane that time of year. The locals refuse to play the jacked up tourist winter prices.
I suspect that you are looking at $200 plus US to play any of the ones I listed above. Verrado and Southern Dunes might be a bit less as they are a bit of a drive. Fall prices when I go are 1/4 -1/3 less.
If budget isn't a concern, they are all very worthy plays.
If budget is a concern look to courses a hit further out or a notch down. When I went one winter we played Poston Butte( really nice Troon course) , Johnson Ranch , Western Skies, Lone Tree , Papago. none were more than $75.
I played Grand Canyon University just off the plane in September , it's not in same league at all as the listed courses but still a good track, I think he said winter rates would be $50-$60Last edited by Weirfan; Dec 22, 2016, 07:16 PM."Don't cry because it's over, Smile because it happened "
