Golf News Now is reporting that Brooke will be playing the Diamond Resorts Invitational on the PGA Tour Champions tour next week at Disney World.

This is a PGA Tour Champions 54 hole event where the Champions and celebrities play separate Modified Stableford tournaments (with separate purses) from the same tees. Groups of three will consist of one Champion and two celebrities. It's part of the "Challenge Season" and does not give out Charles Schwab Cup points.

It will be live on Golf Channel Friday through Sunday afternoons.

It is also open to the public (tickets available on the website and at local Walgreens), in case you happen to be in the neighbourhood.

UPDATE: Brooke will be competing in the Champions Tour event for the $750,000 purse, not the celebrities one (which is for $500,000).

Brooke is tied (with Lexi Thompson and Ian Woosnam) for 13th in the betting odds for this weeks' tournament at 25-1.

Colin Montgomery is the favourite at 9/2. Joe Durant is 2nd at 7-1 and Scott Dunlap is 12-1.

John Daly is 40-1.

Final three-day score of 73. Tentatively 24th. Didn't win, but beat almost all of the celebrities and certainly didn't embarrass herself against the Champions.
