Re: Peterborough for the Long Weekend

Played Six Foot Bay before. It was a solid track. I'm looking forward to Baxter Creek and to check out Quarry Golf. I'm happy that Bellmere is close enough. Now if I can just find my way onto Wildfire...

Re: Peterborough for the Long Weekend

Played Black Diamond on Sunday, Course is a lot of fun to play in my opinion, I would agree that a few holes are an acquired taste. A few of the greens on the back were a bit shaggy. I like it because there are a few tee shots that really make you man up on the back nine ( 10, 11, 12 and 13) and there are a few holes where you really have to use your head and play smart. But the thing I love best about it was on golf now it was 27 bucks with a cart and I was finished in 2hrs and 45 minutes.

Kawartha is solid, private has public play.

Peterborough is private, so you can only go if with a member.

Quarry has a solid front 9, the back can be soft if its. not windy.

Pinecrest is a decent course too, decent length and reasonable pricing.

              Good discussion on courses.
Any information about where to stay for a 3-4 golf trip. Some place nice to spend with spouses?
              Thanks.
