Re: Most over-rated golf course in the Toronto area that you played in 2016.
Personally I believe the issue with some of the more expensive, or according to this thread, overrated golf courses is the terrible conditions we are paying a premium for!? I used to feel less guilty paying $150 to play Angus Glen or Eagles Nest or Wooden Sticks or any other $100+ course around the GTA. Now I see bunkers not groomed, divots not seeded, fairways uncut, greens bumpy and diseased and full of ball marks? I see less and less professional service and courtesy, beverage carts with nothing in them while only seeing them once or twice a round. I dont mind paying the money to play a nice golf course but if im going to spend $100-$200 on green fees somewhere, i want to see the value in the course not just the old reputation. The only public course (although expensive) in the gta i have played over and over again with pretty darn good conditions is Osprey Valley. And the play all day deal is the best darn deal anywhere i have seen.
