Still a good ball, just not the latest and greatest. U can return to a store for a full refund if you so choose.

The 6 ball packs for 14.99 are not the 2017 model I dont believe.

The 2017 balls have their SPINSKIN technology and I did not see that on any of the 6 packs on sale...

geezus. How many golf balls do you go through a year if you go and buy that many?

It's an excellent ball. Pro-quality, same level as ProV1/Tour Preferred/Chrome Soft/B330. It will spin and hold a firm green with a full short iron and it checks up on short pitches too. Plenty long as well, doesn't hook/slice too much off the driver, nice feel, putts well, medium launch & trajectory. At half the price of a ProV1 it's a steal.

                                Re: 2017 Srixon Z-Star5 balls on GolfTown.com

I played 4 rounds in Myrtle Beach with the 2017 XV. It is a great ball. It is the ball I will be playing this summer.

The last 2 seasons I have played Callaway Chrome soft. I also periodically play ProV1 and B330.

The Szixon XV plays exactly as advertised.

                                1) It is long with the driver.
                                2) With a 6 iron I was seeing ball speed 1 mph faster and approx 500 more rpms.
                                3) Into the wind it was fine (this is Callaway's strength)
                                4) Short game shots had great spin - significantly more than Chrome soft.

The Golftown stores still have a few 6 packs left. They are typically located somewhere near to the cash.
