Only hit 50% of greens so putts are down due to usually chipping closer on a 3rd shot rather than approach shots. Not taking away from the score at all, great job man! Birdie, birdie finish as well. Impressive. I remember the first time I shot or broke par I ended up with a birdie on 18 to shoot 69 (-2). Couldn't stop smiling for hours. It's a great feeling, enjoy it!
great scrambling, and a really great finish. Must be very satisfying.
I will say this though - don't be disheartened when you go out and shoot 84 next round though. Almost every time I've played as well as I can in a round, I go out and shoot a horrible number next up. And it doesn't necessarily have to mean that you played bad. I shot a nice round earlier this year - holed absolutely everything. Then went out next week and shot 5 shots worse but felt I played better. Just couldn't hole anything!

That's exactly what it was. I am pretty good around the greens, so anything I could drive within 80 yards left me for a shortish putt. Even then I made several over 8 feet.
You scrambled big time .
What do you avg for putts per round?
1.8 and 2.0 when GIR. I go through spurts, but overall my putting has really improved. Confidence in my putter is in general pretty high, even with the early year birdieless streak.

That's my worry. I am taking 3 weeks off and hoping that I won't have crazy high expectations going into my next round.
