Yeah, that was weird. As mentioned above Sport Chek has a good deal on them also and you can sign up for the newsletter and get an additional 10% off

When i got the notification of the deal, i checked and there were 8 sets left. I'm guessing the next deal loads when the current deal has sold out?

Price is actually $1119.99 plus the extra 10%. Unfortunately its 10 pm and they only have LH sets left. They still have Ping G RH stiff and TM M2 2017, both 4-GW for $799.99.

They only have a certain # of sets at the online hub. They run it until they sell out, hence how it has been replaced by the Rsi1 at $460. Even that their are only 10 sets left and approx 3 hours until the deal is gone.

LOL.......buying retail golf equipment, especially current model years is for suckers. I worked in this racket for many years and you are paying about 50% mark up for new brand name equipment. You can go on to golfworks and get forged cavity heads for $35 each, and that is your price....not a club builders price instead of buying off the rack standard, standard spec equipment. Just paying for their advertising and tour contracts.

If you worked in this "racket" for years then you must have been ripping people off. Standard markup on any golf equipment has been very widely discussed as about 25%. When we were price matching the M1 2017 drivers to the SportChek 20% off sale, with the combined 10% off with sign up we were losing $7 per sale according to our cost. But the customer is always right!

As for the other half of your pointless rant, good job, you can get junky forged cavity backs that have no resale value for $35 per club, or even better, you can get a set for $470 (tax in) with KBS Tour 105 shafts and Lamkin grips, which still have no resale value. Are these not stock, standard spec as well? What happens if I want Project X? C-Tapers? These are no different than the set of Nike Pro Combos sold at my store this afternoon for $600, except, that I can sell the Nike's tomorrow for $385 U.S. on eBay if I don't like them, or put the Maltby's up on eBay and have them sit there for 6 months at $180 and never get a sniff. I'll take a set of the Nike's any day of the week, which coincidentally, come with some sort of warranty. I am also going to go out on a limb and assume the Maltby's don't because they are put together by you and if anything happens, you are on the hook for the cost.

I agree on the maltby comments as I tried that route before.

One note...I wish people would drop adding the line to every Sportchek sale ".. And you can take an extra 10% off signing up for their blah blah blah".

Any tgn nut has done that...10 years ago.
I can't keep getting 10% off indefinitely I get it once. Unless your illegally making up fake emails you sign up and then that's it.

It just peeves me every time Sportchek is mentioned inevitably someone chimes in with that line.
