I'm likely your average bogey golfer on here. My biggest strength is my length but I'm wondering if I should be hitting it even longer. Most of my shots, even the ones that I think I've git well, are not center faced. Impact is always towards the toe. I can't remember the last time I've looked at the face and missed hosel side of center. I use standard lie irons and my ball flight is relatively straight.

Now if I can get even within a ball of center. ....

Re: Am I hitting the sweet spot?
It certainly can be a club length issue or as simple as standing closer to the ball. It's nit clear if you are talking about your driver or irons but being properly fit for both is key to getting everything out of these clubs.
If you are not standing athletic then you are addressing the ball from a weak stance and compensating somehow.
Please let me know if I can helpRegards

Re: Am I hitting the sweet spot?
Thanks for the feedback guys. It happens with both my irons and woods. I've also taken a few lessons where the instructor wanted me to stand a little further away from the ball but I still hit it a towards the toe. Lie board at GT indicates I'm ok with a standard lie. Even when things feel flushed I'll notice that impact is slightly to the toe.9.5 TM R15 Speeder 757 TS

Re: Am I hitting the sweet spot?
could be lots of factors... club path, head movement, etc... Agree on a lesson to see what is up.
Great way to note impact area/sweet spot is foot powder on the club face per the previous posts. Easy to do.
good luck!Last edited by golfunderpar18; Jun 15, 2016, 11:03 PM.

Any thoughts?
I do suggest a TLT fitting.
Please review my site and if I can help please make an appointment.Regards

Re: Am I hitting the sweet spot?
Try this: when aiming or lining up your club, don't center the ball on the face of the club. Have the ball in front of your club and half an inch from the center towards the toe, if that doesn't work line it up half an inch from the center towards the heel.
Get some impact tape or foot spray to see where the ball leaves a mark on the face.
