  • Wedge Bending

I want to flatten out my lob wedge lie to equal a Ping red dot (1* flat I think) and also increase the loft from 60 to either 61 or 62* (I carry a G5 LW which is 58... but I can't open it up for flops)

What will that do to my bounce? The stock setting is 60* with 10* bounce.

    Thanks experts! :-)

    Re: Wedge Bending

For every degree of loft you add you will add approx 1 deg of bounce.

For every degree of loft you strengthen the club by you will decrease the bounce by 1 deg.

        Re: Wedge Bending

most reputable golf shop have a LL bending machine.
        Average cost is $5
Any GT can do it . Devon at the GT in Etobicoke is excellent.

The higher the loft, the more lie angle affects ball flight. You should probably NOT guess with your wedges. If you think there is a need to adjust lie angle, please go get fit and be sure.
