Spurs were outstanding today. Played with speed and pressure to deny City time to set up. The result keeps City from pulling away.
Up until now, City's opponents have been mid to lower table teams other than United (mid table perhaps??). Be interesting to see how they'll react after their first loss.
They must have learned something from watching the mid week game between City and Celtic.
United lost another 2 points against bottom dwellers Stoke.
Liverpool managed 3 points after giving up an early goal.
Arsenal should take Burnley in a few minutes time.
Man City gets a lesson in how to play the game, must have paid the ref a few pounds to miss all those City fowls, in the mean time Agüero continues to practice his diving skills.

Shows how valuable De Bruyne is to City. He's the engine that runs their midfield.
Spurs are now the only unbeaten team.
While De Bruyne makes a difference Kane was out for Spurs, their top scorer.
I think Spurs high press gave the City defense problems. As Pep says, he and Pochettino have similar philosophies. Spurs are finally working the system Pochettino wants them to play. Not sure Spurs missed Kane as he is not particularly fleet afoot.
Spurs won't miss Kane as much as City will miss De Bruyne. Spurs have a in form Son Heung-Min and Delle Ali to spearhead their attack.
Early in the game, I thought Spurs controlled the pace of play giving City all kinds of problems.
The league resumes tomorrow with a couple interesting games.
Chelsea vs Leicester
I like Leicester win by 2-1
Man City vs Everton
Both managers were roommates at Barcelona and while many might expect City to take this game, I think the Toffees might surprise. I think it'' end in a 1-1 draw.
Monday, Liverpool host Man Utd at Anfield. Utd won both home and away in the league last season while Liverpool won both legs in the Europa League.
I have Liverpool winning 3-1.

Leicester have been terrible away from home. Title hangover perhaps.
Everton look much better under Koeman for sure. If he can teach Barclay to pass more it would be nice.
Interesting to see if Rooney starts for United. If he doesn't start against Liverpool, his days as a star are done.

It was embarrassing to watch
Our porous defence was exposed badly
Good thing Celtic lost
Well at least; it was to the Best of the Best.
Messi Magic; never ceases to amaze.
