Well guess I wont be seeing anyone at Red Crest. I returned from holidays to see the mens league is sold out. I didnt think such a thing was possible. Golf is not on the decline in the Newmarket area I suppose.

You have a few other options for men's leagues in that area. I've herd Westview and St Andrews have good leagues.

A lot of the men's leagues in the area are jammed simply because of affordability and the population. There is a Wednesday promo/group thing at Red Crest this season put on by Fairways Magazine. I think it's a bit more money, but a very similar idea.

I don't know how many new members were accepted, but it couldn't have been many. I was fortunate enough to get in because I put my name in the hat a long time ago. Still don't know how I will be able to get out with my buddies at 3:30 or 4pm though! Will be looking for games closer to 5 or 5:30.

The Wednesday/Thursday nights arent as good for me. Usually busy those nights. Mondays are always my free day.
