O.K. folks it is that time of the year to get this thread going.
Facts and figures:
2014 event will take place at Trillium Woods in Belleville on Saturday/Sunday June 7 & 8. 36 holes on Saturday (2 team play rounds) and 18 holes (singles matches) on Sunday.
We are dropping the team number of players to 16 (from 20). So what this means is players will be chosen based on prior year's seniority first. If this means no new players this year then that is what it means.
We will be getting team uniforms again (approx cost $60 again for 2 shirts and hats), this is mandatory, so if you don't want to pay then don't sign up for team.
Dave (Luv2golow) and I are captains again this year. Rich (Lobwedge on this board) is the Ottawa captain.
We are in discussions with Rich on how handicaps will work this year, it is not a simple solution but both sides agree that we do not want handicaps to be a deciding factor in winning or losing the event. Stay tuned for more on this as we come to an agreeable solution.
