People who get their clubs custom fitted often bring in their irons to have the lofts and lies adjusted, shafts replaced...etc..etc...
But have you ever considered your new driver based on the lie angle? Some are quite flat..others very upright.
Classic example of upright was the original Launcher 460, and a favourite of mine. Some others (07' Burner TP,which is a fantastic driver) have flatter lie angles. I find when using these I try to flatten out my swing plane a bit...whether its better or worse..thats a different story.
However, I do find it most comfortable to take a 'free wheeled' swing with the more upright lie angles, as my swing is more upright...makes sense.
Which other drivers out there have more upright lie angles that I could toss into the forever search for the 'Holy Grail'. May just go and buy up a few Launcher 460's, have them refurbished black, and stick in some nice shafts.
