It's a nice course though it's been a long time since I played it. It's a Stanley Thompson course if that is important to you. $99 for 2 with cart and balls is a pretty good deal. Now if they threw in a night or two at the resort then you'd be onto something. It's an hour from Tremblant as well if you want to keep driving for even more golf.
We stay at the resort every year with our training through LandRover, the course is a nice track to play and the deal is certainly worth it, the resort is also very nice with great food..

There's a Wagjag for the Fairmont right now...unfortunately it's only good till Feb. Still a pretty good deal though. $149 (plus fees) for a pretty nice hotel.
History buffs should check out the background of this course. For years, from 1930 to 1970, is was owned by the Seigniory Club whose membership included all the leading politicians of the day and captains of industry. I was fortunate to play this course for the first time in the late 60s (which shows my age!!) and it was an unbelievable experience. I've played it many times since and, while the 'old world' magic is gone, it should still find a place on everyone's bucket list. And be sure to spend a night or more at the Chateau. Largest log cabin in the world......!
If St. Andrews is the home of golf, Askernish is it's soul......!

BTW, forgot to mention that by joining the Stanley Thompson Society (www.stanleythompsonsociety.com) for a very modest fee ($25) you get preferred access to Chateau Montebello and all other Stanley Thompson courses. Check it out.......!
