A very sad day for us 007 fans. Never liked what they did to Bond after Connery until the rebirth of the savage killer good guy with Daniel Craig. But Roger played the role scripted for him brilliantly. My favourite scene was the boat chase through the bayou in Live and Let Die. Funny, Sheriff JW Pepper just passed last month. "What are you boy some kind of doomsday machine". RIP Mr. Bond.

Sad to hear, RIP.
Like many here, I grew up in his era of Bond and have many great memories of his Bond films.
And he did ski as Bond ! There is a guy on one of my ski forums who has the Lotus and exact-matching Olin skis.
