I didn't play a full 18 so I'm not sure. I will however update you after my Monday round.

I have a coupon so it is on my short list for the year. I hope to make it happen. Looked good from the road when we drove by last year. Glad to hear you have some good conditions to play on.

The 90 degree dogleg to the right with the heavy 2 tiered green? I feel like that will be garbage until they fully redo it

                      Re: Black Diamond Wow!

The green on the old 16th is done. It is still a whack-a-doodle hole....but at least there is green to putt on now.

That little group of holes there with all the raised approach shots just makes me sad. It could be such a great course. I feel like all they needed to do when they were building the course was just have the greens on the same level as the approach shot. The holes wouldn't be awesome, but they would be forgettable. As they sit now, they stand out in a player's mind as among the worst holes ever on an otherwise nice course....it also doesn't help that even in the (better) new routing, they are still clumped together.

Would somewhat agree. I like the course. I always have.. ive played It it twice with the new routing. Like it better. The 3 uphill iron shots are a bit much.

I just checked their web site for green fees.

                            Looks like a real bargain ! ($50 weekend, $40 / $30(after 1) on weekdays.

Gfees are less than Humber Valley !

Does it really cost that much less to maintain a golf course .... when it's not located in the GTA ?

Since I moved out of Toronto last year, I'm shocked at how much less golf costs are away from the city. Even that tall ice cold tasty Stella draft I had after golf was cheaper.
