My local Kitchener and Waterloo GT's are both looking pretty thread-bare.
Not much inventory on the floor, and nothing really much on sale.
The clothing and ball selection & quantity is really thin compared to the gold ole' days.

Are they really going to leave Durham Region with zero stores if they pull out of Whitby and make the 500,000 people who live in Oshawa/Whitby/Ajax/Clarington drive to Kennedy Commons in Scarborough?

And that's not even including Pickering people who may already choose Whitby over Scarborough anyway depending on where they live in Pickering too.
      Whitby should be fine.

London GT is starting to look bare, I wonder if they will make it.

I did not deny the sale but pointed out that the article incorrectly stated the stores were evenly split between Canada and the USA.

CI/Fairfax likely would prefer to restock rather than have stores filled with old stock and Snake Eyes.

Sales of a location is but one aspect for consideration....by now CI/Fairfax has examined the lease rates, lease duration, property taxes and size for each location.

Unless you know these factors you would have no clue if a location would make the cut....it takes more than revenue to make a decision. I figure a handful of people know this info and I doubt they post on here.

Bad leases on good locations will likely stay with the old and restarting in a new location with a better lease is always a possibility as is renegotiating leases.

I'd like to see them move to South London.

And you blissfully ignored what I said that SOME of the information was incorrect.

It was already announced that they would make it for the foreseeable future.

Apparently, London is one of the most profitable stores in Ontario.

That makes sense since it's the only GT around here, good to hear.
