looking for people to go play in US or Mexico this winter. can be a weekend tour to vegas eg. share the room cost and have some fun on the course together.

Good place is moon palace in Mexico. If you stay 3 nights or more you can get unlimited golf at 27 holes jack Nicholas signature course. All you can drink, eat, and play.

Good suggestion, thanks! Came back from Orlando, thinking to go somewhere around Feb 10. The flight to Mexico seems to cost more, and Myrtle beach seems to be no1 choice overall. If driving, what will be the nearest place to go, anyone?

Found this flight (see attachment) to Myrtle Beach, round trip $265 between Feb 8 and Feb 12, good timing, just in time for Valentines. Anyone there or plan to head there during this time, let me know.

How long is the drive? How is the road condition, snow, icy? Might worth the drive if we have at least 2-3 to take turns.

It was pretty good, as you have so many choices. I played at Disney Magnolia, Grand Cypress New Course, Orange Lake (Night Course), and Disney Oak Trail with kid.
The service was all good, complimentary range balls, Disney even give me free warm sandwich and drink as a sunrise package. I came across a few cold days (2-3 degree in the morning), so I didn't play as much as planned. Personally, I like the Gran Cypress New Course the best, original Links style, very well maintained, fast green, and good pace (maybe because of cold weather).
I heard the Ritz Carlton golf course is also good, I canceled it because my son needed to go seaworld on that day.

About 16 hours from Burlington. We usually do 10 hrs, stay over and 6 hours to go in the morning.

I think that the best value is the Legends.
