I am sure that I will ruffle a few feathers here inadvertently - but thats okay. And please anyone who feels like this post is in any way offside - comment.
So anyways onto the meat and potatoes here; I have noticed over the last little while that members of this forum who also have accounts on other golfing forums (in particular the big one that ends in WRX) have been listing their items on both sites for sale forums. I think that this is an awesome ability for both sellers and buyers to have and a true testament to the technologically dominated world we live in today. But where the problem arrises for me is when you see a product listed on both forums for different prices - AND the lower price happens to be on the American based site, when the seller is often times Canadian. So I want to know what gives? How do people justify these differentiating price points from site to site? Is it the intimidation factor of the bigger site? Is it that Canadian golfers don't think their fellow golfers are as knowledgable as our American counterparts when it comes to equipment?
I know that this isn't always the case but it is something that I have been seeing more and more of lately, so I thought that I would post to see what others have to say about the issue.
