I took out an 10.5 M1 demo with stock R flex shaft Wednesday at WYndance, there was no noticeable difference in feel or performance than my bagged 10.5 Cobra pro with Graffaloy Blue X-flex .

Your testing/results are much more true and substantial than my duffer efforts on the same topic, but i also tried, on numerous occasions, X-shaft vs. M-shaft (senior), both by Taylormade, in the same TM head, without any noticeable difference between the two.
