What a gutless performance from the leaf skaters. Forget Belfour, they should pay Gary Roberts to teach the team how to play with a set of nuts. They played like a bunch of cowards last night. This team is neither pugnacious nor truculent.

Btw- 26 minutes ice time for jake Gardner. More of this please.

All Allarie teaches is make yourself as big as possible and play deep. There is only one goalie in the NHL that is good at playing deep in his net and successful and that's Lundqvist.

Wilson has gone out a ruined both goalies with the constant flip flopping and sitting them when they're riding a hot streak.

Both Wilson and Burke can look in the mirror at the group of forwards and D and whats gone on with them. Schenn should be dealt he's a top 4 D-man but Wilson and Burke have done nothing but ruin his confidence. Gardiner the next one..

If we had a legit starting goalie, either one of Reimer or the Monster would be a very solid backup.
          I hear Bryzgalov is available

Great goalies can carry the team sometimes. And any goalie can have a hot streak. I don't think either guy has shown yet that they're good enough when they're not on a hot streak. Having said that they still need a few more pieces before you can blame the goalies for not being a top 10 team with a real cup shot. They,re improved but I think they're still a stud forward, defenceman and goalie away.

Just imagine if the Leafs hadn't traded Rask for Raycroft.

Huge mistake in player evaluation when they thought that Pogge was the future and Rask became expendable. Where's Pogge today?

Happens to every team but this is one that keeps haunting the Leafs.

Unfortunately, Rask would be wasted here as well. Great thing for the kid to be traded to Boston. Under Wilson, goalies become garbage.

Rask is still a backup goalie, but I agree that was an awful trade. Then again, I'd like to see Monster or Reimer playing backup (reduced pressure) on a team that is as solid defensively as Boston is, I bet you they would both look pretty good.

Yes, Rask is currently a backup, but he will be the number one goalie after Thomas is gone.

Baggage and injury prone... leave him alone. Last thing you need is to start reuniting the party boys from Philly.

I would much rather Nash. But I'd take Carter too.
