Swing Path Issue

Spent some time on the range with impact tape on my irons.

I was consistently making contact slightly to the heel. tried moving a little further away from the ball but no change.

Any suggestions??

Try looking at the forward part of the ball,that's if you are like me focus on center.

heel contact has many origins, but start with your ball position(start from center, and go forward in your stance) and the lie angle of the irons( put tape on the sole to get a contact reading off a board)

Hey Rick, when was the last time you had your clubs fitted? Your swing has a tendency to change over time, as does your set-up and posture. Have them checked by a club fitter to make sure you don't need to make any changes in your swing. Adjusting the clubs is way easier than your swing/posture.

Have not had the clubs checked for a while have to find a fitter near here.
