          Re: Our Green Grass Location

Have anyone signed up for golflab? I am seriously considering it since my Markham golf dome membership is expiring. Right now at Markham golf dome, I sometimes bring my wife to the range so she and I would share a mat. She does not go very often maybe once in a month or something but I am wondering if that would be a problem in golflab?

          Thanks,

Re: The Golf Lab at Diamond Back

I'm not a current member of Golflab but was a previous member. Comparing indoor facilities and technology, Golflab beats Markham Dome hands down. To me, Markham Dome during the winter was a place to bang out balls to scratch a golf itch during the winter. Golflab during the winter was a place to really develop my golf game.

Their offering at Diamond Back now just adds to the attractiveness of a year round membership. My only question is how readily available is the Trackman at Diamond Back as I assume only 1 or 2 stations are allocated to Golflab members.

It would not be a problem at all if you wanted to bring your wife to The Golf Lab. Members are allowed to share a matt with guests, the cost would be 50% off the standard fee of $50 per 45 minute session.

                Wookie,

All active Golf Lab Members will be able to book time at DiamondBack 72 hours in advance twice per month (but not day of). This should help alleviate congestion and allow more members to book practice time at DiamondBack. Members will still be able to book six indoor practice sessions per month just like in the winter.

We are also working out details for our Month Golf Lab Days stay tuned for more information.

Re: The Golf Lab at Diamond Back

After getting the email about the golf lab at diamondback I decided to take the tour and free time on trackman offered to clublink members ... I was very impressed with the facility and if I have the $$ I'd definitely consider joining for the winter...

The facility was very impressive and I've always wanted to try a putter fitting so I figured may as well and did that last night with Ryan Holley.... he was very knowledgeable and I liked the way he just stated the facts in black and white..

I brought out the two putters I switched between and while I'd have been ok if he just suggested a new putter he felt that with a few adjustments my usual suspect would be fine... left the putter with him and he is going to get it done and drop it off for me at the DB proshop so I can give it a try Saturday..

Anyone looking for a putter fitting it was a good experience and worth the $$ (or I hope it will be .. I guess we'll see after Saturday)

I look forward to the GL coming to DB and hope they do well ..

How much is this membership? I don't see the price anywhere. This looks very cool though. I just hope I can afford it.

Re: The Golf Lab at Diamond Back

Diamond Back was a "satellite" base during the summer for the Golf Lab (now Peak Performance Golf)

I am a member at PPG and not sure at this point if they are planning to do something similar again this summer. I believe they were at Bond Head the year before.
