I'm not sure I understand your logic of it penalizing the guys who manage to make and entry each week, everybody loses a worst score. Players who score say 180 points each week will lose more points than the guys that only score say 100 points a week, but the high scoring guys will still be way ahead of them.
There is also another factor to consider; sometimes technology fails us through no fault of our own.
So lets say you make your picks early in the week and then without you knowing it one of your better picks W/D's at the last minute.
Or lets say you hear about it, go to make your change and the system yours or theirs is down and you cannot make the change.
So I say to you tough S!!T, my players are all in OK, fair of course, that's the way you want it, but actually it is not fair.
From past experience and I also have had a lot, I would say most will go for opting out the worst week option, we will see.
