I found an orange Volvik on course during one of my last rounds of the season at the Oaks of St. George. I believe it was an orange DS77.
I really liked its visibility, and it had a very unique feel / sound at impact, and seemed to fly far. I got 8 holes with it before pulling it OoB left.
Then the week after while at Craigowan, they had S4 & S3 and Vivids in the pro shop.
The matte colour & surface feel of the Vivids was really cool. None of the Volviks are cheap though.
I'd certainly like to snag a few boxes but like most of us, I am loaded for bear when it comes to my inventory.

Makes a lot of sense Volvik was the official ball supplier at the WLD championship this year.

a few years back I did an impromptu late November on course comparison between a ProV, a Cal HX tour56 my preferred ball at that time, and a just found Volvik Crystal. I knew squat about Volvik balls. I had heard of them, but never played one.
The Volvik held its own in distance and on the firm Nov. green. Impressed as I was my golf ball misogynist inner self could not be persuaded to buy them.

because he states he is "ball-free" and has no deal with anyone...does that mean he has to go to golf galaxy or D-ick's in the states and go pick up a dozen for the tournie?
Or does he just sneak some into his bag from the driving range like in Tin Cup
