I could swear he grounded his club twice before hitting... just watched it on DVR, its pretty close but it really looks like he grounded.

Tell that to the official thats talking to him right now.
If i had to put money on it. He grounded it. If he knew it was a bunker theres no way he would have addressed it the way he did.

EDIT: And by no means do i WANT to see him out of the championship, just saying i noticed it at the time.

Spectacular failure by Whistling Straits staff, if it's deemed a violation. They should never be allowed to host a golf tournament again.

Theres no discussion as to whether he grounded it or not.... what constitutes a bunker? why is there spectators in it? why didnt the official remove all of them from the bunker before he hit?

This isnt right. This was missed by the official with the group aswell if he allowed the spectators to stay in there.
