Golf Club Refinishing- Re chroming Forged irons

Good day fellow WRX'ers,

I am looking to get a set of Hogan Forged re chromed. Just love the look and feel of these. Looking to spend about $400.

Any suggestions on where do have these re chromed and recommendations.

Also, to get a set of heads fully striped and refinished will cost you more than $400.

their pricing is very reasonable , cheaper if you just send the heads. Prices are in USD plus shipping to and fro

Ya that was impressive, I had no idea the amount of hands on labour and the multi-step processes.

Though I wonder how much weight is lost from the grindings to get out the gouges and dents ? Though it could be offset by a superior ( thicker ) plating process.

One can expect Some minimal weight loss especially if there are significant marks they need to take out however they will return it to normal in the re-chroming step....the tour chrome at the iron factory is heavier duty quality and heavier and what I recommend.

Found a guy in the US for less than $30 head plus shipping to and from. 8 heads X $30 + $20 shipping to and $30 return shipping= less than $400. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Doug Oughton in Sacramento Cali. His current turnaround time is about 45-60 days. No rush as I need them for May.
